The Transition of Economic Exchanges around the Pan-Beibu Gulf:111 B.C.—1840

在"华夷秩序"这一古代国际关系体系的框架渐次形成的大背景下,古代泛北部湾地区自西汉年间就开始了经济交往,由缓慢发展到繁荣昌盛,经历了近两千年的发展。在漫长的历史进程中,区域经济交往的中心经历了由西向东的转移,最终在西方殖民势力的冲击下,被纳入到近代全球贸易体系当中。

As the Hua-Yi Order, an ancient system of international relations, gradually came into shape, economic exchanges began to emerge around the Pan Beibu-Gulf （PBG） since Western Han period and reached its prosperous stage after about 2000 years of development. In the long historical process, the centre of the PBG economy exchanges has been transferred from the West to the East, and finally integrated into modern global trade system under the impulsion of the western colonialism.
