基于ARM的嵌入式Bootloader分析与移植

Analysis and Porting of Embedded Bootloader Based on ARM

引导加载程序(Bootloader)是用于初始化硬件,引导和加载操作系统内核的一段程序。U-Boot是被广泛应用的功能强大的开放源码的嵌入式Bootloader。本文在U-Boot源码中smdk2410的代码基础上,成功地将U-Boot移植到以三星S3C2440为处理器的目标板上,并且给出了实现U-Boot自动识别启动ROM的原理和编写相关支持代码的思路。测试结果表明该方法行之有效,并具有一定的参考价值。

Bootloader is used to initialize hardware,boot and load OS kernel.U-Boot is a powerful and open bootloader,which is widelyfound in embedded system.This author has succeeded in porting U-Boot to S3C2440-based target board,according to smdk2410-related code included in the U-Boot tarball,and given the way of U-Boot＇s identifying boot ROM automatically and the basic idea ofwriting related code.The test result suggests this method is feasible and can serve as reference.
