白光LED具有寿命长、节能等显著优点,是节能与环保的"富矿"。它从诞生至今,以每10年亮度提高20倍,价格降低为原来的1/100的速度发展,伴随着新材料和发光效率的提高。单个LED光源的功率和光通量也在迅速增加。文章从原理角度对白光LED进行了阐述,对白光LED驱动进行了探讨,根据白光LED的研究现状和存在的问题,从LED芯片、封装技术等方面对白光LED的研究方向进行详细的评述。

White LED has a long life,energy and some other obvious advantages,and is the ＂bonanza＂ for energy-saving and envi-ronmental protection. From its absent to now,accompany with new materials and luminous efficiency,its brightness increased 20times every 10 years,and price decreased to 1/100 of its original price. A single LED light source power and luminous flux are alsoincreasing rapidly. From the point view of principle,white LED and its driving system were discussed,according to the study ofwhite LED status and problems,from the LED chips,packaging technology and other aspects,the developing trend of the white LEDis reviewed in detail.
