There has long been intense philosophical debate upon the untranslatability and translatability inherent in language. The essay is a detailed discussion of the relative untranslatability inherent in linguistic activities from the perspective of translating Biblical texts by elaborating translational views held by logical positivism and symbolic logic, hermeneutical tradition, and deconstructionists, in combination with the historical, relational and interpretive biblical texts.
