陈一百先生的学术精神及其当代启示——基于《陈一百教育文选》的分析

The academic spirit of Chen Yibai and its contemporary implication——An analysis based on Selected Educational Writings of Chen Yibai

陈一百先生（1909～1993）是原广州师范学院院长，在教育学、教育统计测量学、教育心理学等学术领域建树良多。文章通过对《陈一百教育文选》的分析，探讨了陈一百先生教育思想中所蕴涵的学术精神，具体包括不懈的探索精神、无畏的独立精神、严谨的求真精神、中西结合的理性精神和对教育事业的责任与深爱。陈一百先生的学术精神给予当代学人的最大启示是学术活动应坚守独立性和超越性。

Mr. Chen Yibai（ 1909 - 1993）was the former president of Guangzhou Teachers＇ College, who had made many achievements in the field of the science of education, educational statistics and measurements and Educational Psychology. By analyzing the book of Selected Educational Writings of Chen Yibai, this paper discusses the Chen＇s academic spirit, which includes the spirit of continuous exploration, of fearless independence, of seeking truth, the rational spirit combining the strengths of the eastern and western worlds and his deep love of education. The greatest revelation disclosed by his academic spirit is that the independence and transcendence of academic activities should be upheld firmly.
