酒泉地区地处甘、青、新、内蒙古４省区的交汇地带．从区域整合关系上看，它受西北边境开放带和陇海—兰新经济带的双向牵引，是西北五大重点开发区之间的结节地域．从资源共享和产业共建的角度出发，按照全国劳动地域分工和西北区联动开发的要求，应围绕酒泉地区构建资源节约型、枢纽型、外向型的产业．

Jiuquan Prefecture is situated in the contiguous area of Gansu,Qinghai,Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.In the process of the region coupling,its drawn by the Northwest China Open Border Belt and the Longhai Lanxin Economic Belt,is the nodal region of five key exploitation areas.According to the national labour territorial division,based on the common use of resource and the common construction of sectors,it should develop the resource save,and export oriented economy.
