The construction of 600 kt/a propane-to-propylene unit had been kicked off by the Tianjin Bohua Petrochemical Company by the end of May, 2010. The Tianjin Bohua Petrochemical Company, which is a solely-owned company funded by the Bohai Chemical Group, will be responsible for the construction and operation of the 600 kt/a propane-topropylene unit. The investment in this project will total 3.48billion RMB and the said project is slated for start-up by September 2012.
