The brief biography of Ambrose John Fleming is recounted.The discovery course of Fleming’s two electrode tube that Fleming made a through research on the basis of Edison effect and fitted in with the needs of the development of wireless telegraphy is recounted.His inspiration resulted from the accumulation of his research over a long period of time,and his style of remarkable diligence and rigorousness set an example for us.
