摘要
采用高强度片光源,并在水中加入片状铝屑的方法,对含有型芯的较复杂型腔进行了充填过程的水模拟实验.通过逐片显示不同切面上自由表面在充填过程中的演变,反映了此过程中自由表面的三维变化.
Mold cavity with a core is filled with water for examining the filling process. Flaky aluminum powder is added such that light could trace the evolution of free surface in the mold and displayed section by section. The three dimensional morphology of the free surface could thus be deduced. Fluid flow characteristics during mold filling are found experimentally to be satisfactory.
