The Fee Structure of Open-access Journals Based On Two-sided Market

摘要文章以双边市场理论为理论基础,通过设置三种经济代理——期刊、作者、读者,构建了开放存取期刊费用结构模型,对目前大部分开放存取期刊所采用的"作者付费出版,读者免费利用"的收费模式进行了分析。最后提出不能将原来应该由读者承担的费用全部由作者承担,必须有第三方机构的介入,来承担开放存取期刊所免去的读者的费用。 This paper,on the basis of two-sided market theory,through assuming three economic agents ——journals,authors and readers,constructs a fee structure model of open-access journals.Then it analyzes the model ——＂authors pay for publication,readers make free use of it＂—— which is adopted by many open-access journals now.At last,it suggests that we shouldn’t let authors afford the whole fee which should be undertaken by readers.And it is necessary for us to get the help of intermediate body.
