边贡文学地位辨析及其诗歌特征简论

An Analysis of BianGong's Literary Position and the Features of His Poetry

明代"弘正四杰"中,对边贡与徐祯卿地位的高低,颇存争议,但边贡律诗尤其是五言诗的成就,却是有目共睹的,实无愧于其他三家。边贡五律,呈现出飘逸俊秀、平淡和粹、感情真挚深婉的风格特征;其怀古七律精深沉稳,意蕴深含,于沉稳处见流利。不足之处则是"气格少让"、"边幅较狭"。

Among the four outstanding poets in Hong Zheng period of the Ming Dynasty,who enjoys a higher literary position is being disputed.However,the Bian Gong＇s eight-lined poems,especially the poems with five characters in a line,are highly praised,for they are well-versed in an emotional and placid manner.In addition,his poems about meditation on the past with seven characters in a line are poetic and profound.But the shortcomings of his poems lie in the limited scope in content and lack of sublimeness.
