General Research Institute of CNOOC works as the staff officer in the exploration,development,study of engineering science and study of decision-making of CNOOC.This institute provides technological support for business of corporation and takes on a lot of major technological research projects belonging to the country and corporation.So it is confronted with many problems which are that the numerous fields of research,the more difficult technology,the large span of professionals,the pressing time of research and the limited research resource.In order to solve these problems and ensure the quality of research results,General Research Institute,based on its exploration and practice in many years,boldly stepped into practice and reflection in the management of major technological research projects according the requirements of ISO 9001 quality management system,thus gradually forming a set of management methods and procedure for the quality control of technological research projects and getting the good effects.
