The paper discusses that taking the important role and status in the national economy of geological prospecting units as standards for measuring the reform result, as well as important condition of marketing management as enterprise; the geological prospecting units can maintain the situation of effecting business administration in institutional units. This is the dependency relationship between national macro-economic development and geological and mineral industry; the important role of geological exploration units in country's industrial chain determines the appropriate treatment that they should enjoy and development orientation.
