The paper describes the construction of BP neural network model which was used to forecast the highway Cargo transportation volume,and predicts the highway cargo transportation volume in 2009 and 2010 using the built model,and predicts the highway passenger transportation volume,waterway cargo transportation volume,passenger transportation volume and their corresponding turnover.The purpose is to provide a scientific and objective reference for the construction of terminal layout and scale of investment of highway and waterway transportation routes and stations in Zhejiang province.
