在对日本人文、宗教和国民性格的研究中,笔者深切感受到生命永久循环的世界观是"日本人的灵魂"。它形成于宗教之前,并延续至今,深刻影响着日本的宗教和国民性格。这一课题属于基础性课题,研究的意义就在于为研究日本人文、宗教等应用性研究课题提供一个有价值的思路,这一课题的研究涉及三个主要问题:日本古朴的生命永久循环世界观、对日本国民性格的深刻影响、现代科学主义观念的冲击。

The life recurrence world outlook is the soul of the Japanese.Formed earlier than religion,it continues up to now and deeply impacts the religion and national character of Japan.The aim of the study is to provide research programs on humanities and religions of Japan with a valuable thinking way.Three topics,including the primitive life recurrence world outlook,its deep influence on Japanese national character and the impact of scientism conceptions at modern times,are involved in the study.
