通过对豫西传统民居的建造形制、环境适应性特征、现实性优点的分析和总结,试图探究其价值表现形式,找出一些对我们现今城市和乡村建设发展有借鉴意义的地方。最后,阐述了豫西传统民居的现状以及如何保护、利用和延续这一特有的建筑形式,以促进区域经济发展。

This paper has an analysis and summary of the architectural form, the environmental adaptation characteristic, the realism advantage on the western He＇ nan traditional residents. To have an attempt research on its reflecting form of value and find some reference sigaificances for the present urban and rural architecture development. At last, it has an exposition on the current situation of western He＇ nan traditional residents and how to protect, use and extend this special building form to promote regional economy.
