摘要
中国西部电影曾经给中国电影界带来了无可比拟的荣耀,回顾早期西部电影,大都是在国外拿到大奖后才逐渐被国内观众熟知的,但是大部分获奖影片的国内票房却远没有所获奖项光鲜,国内传播的受阻引发了人们对西部电影海外传播"效益"的质疑。电影作为大众传播的一种方式既应当具有商品属性,也应当具有文化属性。新西部电影除了在继承传统西部电影的优良传统之外,还应当在传播方式上积极探索商业性与艺术性的平衡,积极拓展传播渠道。
China's Western films have ever brought Chinese filmdom unmatchable glory.Earlier,domestic audiences usually began to care about certain China's Western films only after they had been awarded abroad.However,most of the awarded films haven't expected good box office returns,which arouse people's concern that whether it's worthwhile to broadcast abroad.As a mass medium of communication,films do not only have commodity property but also cultural dependency.Currently,besides inheriting some good traditions,new China's Western films should seek a balance between business and art to expand the channels of transmission.
