健全的区域经济合作机制,是指从合作的原则到机构,从合作的领域到项目,从项目的调研到决策,从合作措施的推出到落实,都制订或形成了系统化和制度化的方式和方法,有相应的机构去决策、协调、督促和执行。东盟是东亚地区最成功的区域经济合作组织,从一开始就重视合作机制的建设。大湄公河次区域经济合作机制也因其功能基本完善,成为世界次区域经济合作的典范。

A complete cooperation mechanism constitutes a series of systematic measures from the cooperative principles to its participants,from the cooperative fields to concrete projects,from investigation to decision-making,from the introduction of cooperative measures to its implementation.And there should have corresponding organizations to conduct decision-making,coordinating,supervising and implementing during the whole process.ASEAN is one of the most successful cooperation mechanisms for regional economy in East Asia,which focuses on the construction of mechanism at the very beginning.Greater Mekong Sub-region Economic Cooperation Program is also a good model of Sub-regional Economic Cooperation in the world.
