It is of great significance to launch community health management in our country. In view of the medical socialization trend and the insufficient human resources in community at present, by having an overview of the implementation progress and effectiveness of health-promoting volunteers activities in our country, pointing out the necessity and feasibility of displaying the functions of health- promoting volunteers in community health management and to discussing how to bring health-promoting volunteers to full play in community health management.
