摘要
《看不见的人》是黑人成长小说的一个典型。它既是一部传统意义上的现代成长小说,也是一部把传统成长小说与现代成长小说结合得非常好的作品,而且还带着明显的"美国特色"。主人公在"他者"与自我的矛盾对立中,努力寻求着调和的途径,而主人公也正是在这样的矛盾与统一中完成了个体心灵和精神意义的成长。
The Invisible Man is a representative of Black growing novel.It is not only a traditional modern novel,but also a combination between tradition and modern with the American characteristics.The protagonist struggles for the symphonious ways in the contradiction between self and himself while his growth of spirit and soul achieves in the course of that.
