SOMSN:A Service-Oriented Middleware for Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要 由于具体硬件和协议的限制,开发无线传感器网络应用显得非常繁复.提出了一种面向服务的无线传感器网络的中间件SOMSN,用于透明化无线传感器网络底层协议,简化应用研发.描述了MDA框架下SOMSN核心部分的平台无关模型,给出了SOMSN与现有WSN中间件的比较分析.SOMSN已初步实现于Zigbee协议之上,通过一个应用例子表明,SOMSN可快速构建出满足用户特定需求的Zigbee应用. Developing WSN (wireless sensor networks) applications seems very complicated due to the limitations on hardware and protocols. This paper proposes a service-oriented middleware for wireless sensor networks,named SOMSN,to encapsulate the lower specified WSN protocols and simplify the process of WSN application development. In this paper,a platform-independent model for the nucleus part of SOMSN is described in the MDA framework and a comparison is given between SOMSN and other WSN middlewares. SOMSN is implemented on Zigbee now. A case study shows that it has the ability to help develop Zigbee applications quickly to meet the customized needs.
