On Chinese Cultural Introduction in College English Teaching

语言与文化紧密相连。中西文化差异是大学英语教学中的障碍,适当的中国文化导入可以帮助学生在了解本土文化的同时,培养学生的跨文化意识,提高他们双向的跨文化交际能力。

Language and culture are closely linked. Cultural differences between China and English-speaking countries constitute the obstacles in college English teaching. Therefore,appropriate Chinese cultural introduction can not only help college students to understand the local culture and cultivate students’ cross-culture awareness,but also improve their cross-cultural communication capabilities.
