The radio frequency identification （RFID） is widely used in various fields, but the standardization of anti-collision algorithm, the system accuracy of RFID are to be further improved. The paper researched the advantages and disadvantages for the RFID system and its development direction, described RFID security and efficiency, the advantages of fast recognition algorithm, and introduced RFID technologies and materials, networking, wireless sensors, NFC and other technologies combined, and the RFID technology was applied in retail, logistics, transportation and other fields.
