基于GPU的动态地形实时绘制技术的研究与实现 被引量:3

摘要 为了有效解决高逼真动态地形的实时绘制问题,提出了一种基于现代可编程GPU顶点纹理获取(vertex texture fetch,VTF)特性的动态地形实时绘制技术。在研究相关动态地形绘制算法及现代GPU着色器模型的基础上,对基于可编程GPU实现动态地形的技术支持和性能优势进行了分析。最后,以人在松软的地面行走为实例,设计并实现了一个基于GPU顶点纹理获取的动态地形绘制系统。实验结果表明了该技术方案的可行性和有效性。 To solve efficiently the real time rendering of high fidelity dynamic terrain,a technology based on the VFT(vertex texture fetch) of programmable GPU(graphics processing unit) is proposed.Based on the research of the related existing dynamic terrain rendering algorithms and the shader model of contemporary GPU,technical supports and performance advantages of programmable GPU used to implement dynamic terrain are analyzed.Finally,a simulation case of walking on the soft ground is designed and implemented,as an example of real time dynamic terrain rendering system based on GPU vertex texturing fetch.The final experiment illustrates the feasibility and validity of the scheme.
