In the process of globalization,the public issues have attracted great concerns of the people.Phrases like ＂public environment＂ and ＂public awareness＂ reappear frequently.The public awareness among the Japanese is generally high.This article,through the analysis of the Japanese traditional interpretation of public awareness,the family education and the cultivation of public awareness in the school education,puts forward a practical reference for the construction of the cultural channels to the cultivation of the Chinese public awareness.
