摘要
长途传输系统用掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)代替中继器,使得由于光纤非线性造成的信号变形成了主要问题。这些系统需要低非线性的光纤,而增加光纤有效面积可以大大减小非线性。介绍了最近出现的各种大有效面积光纤的结构,并且对它们作对比分析。
Long trunk systems have widely adopted EDFA as reapter due to emergency of Er doped fiber amplifer,so distortion brought from nonlinearity has been an important problem.All these systems require low nonlinearity,and it can be obtained by increasing fiber effective area.This article analyzes all kinds of LEAF (large effective area fiber),and compares their characteristics,which will do favor to the design of novel fiber.
