高考有效性的实证研究

Research on the Effectiveness of the College Entrance Examination

本文在对高考效度进行实证性研究的基础上认为,高考是一个优秀的考试,它有效地发挥了为高等学校选择合适生源的作用,履行了自身的基本职能。在无法找出成本相当或更低而效果相当或更好的替代工具之前,人们应当对高考持肯定态度。同时,随着基础教育质量和高考录取率的提高,高等学校招生录取对高考效度的要求也越来越高,因此,高考仍需不断地完善以提高其有效性。

Through the empirical research, it is proved that the College Entrance Examination is a good test which performs its basic function by effectively choosing the appropriate students for colleges and universities. The College Entrance Examination should be affirmed before some alternative tools at an equal or lower cost, but with the same or better effect can be found. At the same time, as the quality of primary education is enhancing and the university enrolment rate is increasing, higher validity of the College Entrance Examination will be required by colleges and universities for recruitment purpose. Therefore, effectiveness of the College Entrance Examination still needs to be improved.
