外语院校图书馆联盟建设的思考

Reflection on the Construction of Foreign Language University Library Consortia

图书馆联盟作为网络环境下图书馆合作的一种新形式,为图书馆的发展带来了新的机遇。外语院校图书馆联盟在发展中存在一些问题,如缺乏理论研究和利益平衡机制,资金短缺,联采、联编工作开展不畅等问题。建立联盟委员会并设立专职人员、制定合作的基本原则及规章制度、寻求稳定的资金来源、建立完善的系统管理模式、进行业务培训和人才培养,是外语院校图书馆联盟发展的重要保障。

As a new way of library cooperation, the foreign language university library consortia bring new opportunities to university libraries in network environment. There are some problems in developing the foreign language university library consortia, such as the lack of theoretical research and benefit balance mechanism, the lack of funding as well as problems in union purchasing and cataloging. Authors give some suggestions about building the consortium committee and employing full-time staff, drafting basic principles and institution for cooperation, building the perfect systematic management as well as carrying out business training and personnel training, in order to achieve the healthy development of the library consotium in China.
