摘要
工程师供需矛盾是当前西方发达国家普遍面临的问题;为了解决该问题,国外高校进行了一系列的工程教育改革。当前中国的工科毕业生需求旺盛,工程教育稳步发展,同时工程教育的生源状况也面临着潜在危机。本文对当前中国工程教育生源数量与质量状况进行了统计研究,研究显示:工程教育生源数量相对值在减少,工程教育生源质量呈现相对降低趋势。培养优秀工程师是我国高等教育的一项紧迫任务,这一任务的完成有赖于工程教育生源数量与质量的保证。我们应该意识到中国工程教育生源的危机状况,积极实施有效的方案与教育计划。
The contradiction between engineers supply and demand is common in Western developed countries. To solve this problem, many foreign universities conduct a series of engineering education reform initiatives. Now there is a strong demand for engineering graduates. And engineering education is steadily developing in China. But at the same time, the student source of engineering education is also facing a potential crisis. This paper discusses the quantity and quality of engineering applicants. The study shows that the relative quantity and quality of engineering enrolment is reducing. Guaranteed quantity and quality of engineering education applicants is the foundation to develop outstanding engineers, and effective measures should be taken to improve the quantity and quality of engineering applicants.
