颈动脉内膜切除术预防缺血性脑卒中20例的临床研究

Clinical Study of Carotid Endarterectomy for Prevention of Ischemic Stroke in 20 Cases of Carotid Artery Stenosis

目的研究颈动脉内膜切除术(CEA)预防脑卒中的疗效,介绍该手术技术和临床经验.方法回顾分析20例有症状的颅外颈动脉狭窄病例,手术治疗20例.结果 19例患者良好效果,均康复出院,随访4～40月,所有病例术后未发生脑卒中.患者认知能力较术前有显著地改善.结论 CEA是预防缺血性脑卒中有效的手术方法.

Objective To study the preventive effect of carotid endarterectomy（CEA）on stroke,and summarize the experiences.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the 20 patients with carotid artery stenosis.All 20 patients received carotid endarterectomy.Results 19 patients got good effect and recovered.During 4 to 40 months＇follow up period,no case of stroke was found.The cognition of patients were improved significantly.Conclusion Carotid endarterectomy is an effective method to prevent ischemic stroke.
