科技期刊编辑应注重统计数据的审核

Editor of sci-tech journals should pay attention to review of statistical data

科技期刊编辑中,统计数据的编审一直是个薄弱环节,一些低级错误时常在论文中出现。为改变这种状态,现从统计基本原理入手,对科技期刊中的统计数据失误进行案例分析,提出了一套可行的解决方案:1)注重编辑流程中数据的编审;2)加强对编辑人员统计能力的培训;3)建立专业统计数据审核制度。实施本方案将为科技论文的公正性、科学性打下基础。

Read and edit of statistical data is always a bottleneck among editors of sci-tech journals.Some low level errors often occur frequently in the paper.To change this kind of situation,starting from the basic principles of statistics,this paper makes a case study of statistical errors in sci-tech journals and presents a feasible solution： 1） paying attention to the reading and editing process;2） stressing the cultivation of statistical quality of editors;3） establishing a professional statistical data review system.Implementation of this program can lay the foundation for the justness and science of sci-tech journals.
