水性氧化聚乙烯蜡及其在纸质文物保护中的应用 被引量:8

摘要 采用丙烯酸等单体改性氧化聚乙烯蜡,使其水性化,并将质量分数为2.5%的水性氧化聚乙烯蜡与质量分数分别为1%和0.1%的三乙醇胺及硅酸钠进行复配,用复配液处理纸质文物;对复配液处理前后纸样的外观、pH值、物理强度性能和耐酸耐碱等进行测定及扫描电镜分析。结果表明,复配液处理后纸样的外观、质感、光泽度及耐折度无明显变化;经100℃老化处理72h前后,复配液处理后纸张的pH值都能上升到理想值7.5~9.0,老化前后的抗张强度较原纸的分别提高38.5%和36.4%,且纸张耐酸、耐碱能力大大提高。 Aqueous oxidized polyethylene wax was prepared by grafting acrylic monomers onto polyethylene wax.Using the mixture of aqueous oxidized polyethylene wax,triethanolamine and sodium silicate to protect the paper,the protection effect was analyzed by SEM and evaluated by determining the aspect changes,glossiness,folding endurance,tensile strength,and the acid and alkali resistance of the paper.The result showed that the mixture of 2.5% aqueous oxidized polyethylene wax,1% triethanolamine and 0.1% sodium silicate could increase the paper's pH to 7.5~9.0,the tensile strength of the paper before and after aging increased by 38.5% and 36.4% respectively,and slow down the aging rate without any change of paper's aspect,glossiness and folding endurance.
