摘要
用马来酸酐作接枝改性剂,对三元乙丙橡胶进行接枝改性,实验得到改性三元乙丙橡胶,将其配制成适当浓度的胶液,涂于纸样表面,分别进行纸样的白度、厚度、抗张强度、耐折度、干热加速老化等实验,并用FT-IR和扫描电镜进行表征。结果表明,浓度为4%的改性三元乙丙胶液对纸样的处理不仅保持了原有的质感、光泽、颜色,而且抗张强度、耐折度均有明显提高,能够满足对纸质文物加固保护的要求。
The modified EPDM latex was prepared by grafting maleic anhydride,the modified EPDM latex with proper concentration can be used for paper relics conservation.The grafting conditions were also optimized.The modified EPDM latex with different concentration was sprayed on the surface of the paper,brightness,thickness,tensile strength,folding endurance,dry heat accelerated aging were tested,the sample was characterized by the FT-IR and scanning electron microscopy.Results showed that the treated paper sample not only maintained the original texture,luster,color,and the tensile strength,folding endurance were also significantly increased.Experiments showed that the modified EPDM latex with a concentration of 4% has a protective effect on the paper-based artifacts.
