外科正畸联合矫治陈旧性面中份骨折所致牙颌面畸形

THE USE OF ORTHODONTIC SURGERY IN THE TREATMENT OF DENTOMAXILLOFACIAL DEFORMITIES FOLLOWING MAXILLOFACIAL FRACTURES

目的：颌面部陈旧性骨折错位愈合和不愈合，将引起严重的牙颌系统功能障碍与面颌畸形，外科正畸联合矫治及坚固内固定技术的应用为治疗颌面骨折所致牙颌面畸形提供了全新的概念。方法：采用Ｘ线头影测量分析、模型外科、骨切开复位及坚固内固定技术矫治４６例颌面部骨折所致牙颌面畸形咬合紊乱。结果：本组病例均获得满意的功能和形态效果。结论：外科正畸联合是矫治颌面部骨折所致牙颌面畸形的有效方法。

Purpose: Severe dentomaxillofacial deformity and disfunction is a complication of malunited or nonumited maxillofacial fractures. This article presents the use of orthodontic surgery and rigid internal fixationa new technique to treat such deformities. Methods: Fortysix consecutive patients with late dentomaxillofacial deformities following maxillofacial fracures were treated by the use of xray cephalometric analysis, model surgery, open reduction and rigid internal fixation. Results: In all patients, it was successfully to correct the dentomaxillofacial deformities, as well as facilitate normal function. Conclusions: The use of orthodontic surgery is a viable treatment option for the managment of such deformities.
