Three Continuum Modes of Marxist View of History and Localization of Marxism in China

马克思的历史观有三种连续性模式:阶级斗争模式、生产力模式、以人为本模式。新民主主义革命和社会主义革命时期凸显其阶级斗争模式,形成了以阶级斗争为主要内容、以夺取和巩固人民政权为主要特征的毛泽东思想;社会主义建设新时期凸显其生产力模式,形成了以发展社会生产力为主要内容、以改革开放为主要特征的邓小平理论和"三个代表"重要思想;新世纪以来以人为本模式逐渐彰显,形成了以经济社会全面协调可持续发展为主要内容、以公平正义和社会和谐为主要特征的科学发展观。

Marxist View of History has three continuum modes, i.e. class struggle mode, productivity mode and people-oriented mode. These three modes tally with the localization process of Marxism in China. During the New Democratic Revolution period and Socialist Revolution period, it featured the class struggle mode, and the Maoism was formed with class struggle as its major contents and with seizing and consolidating people＇ s political power as its major feature. During the new period of socialist construction, it featured the productivity mode, and DENG Xiao-ping＇ s Theory and the important thought of ＂Three Represents＂ were formed, with developing social productivity as their major contents and with reform and opening-up as their major features. Since the new century, the people-oriented mode gradually came into view, and the Scientific Outlook on Development was formed, with comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development of economic society as its major contents, and with fairness ＆ justice and social harmony as its major features.
