农村嬗变过程中的农民精神贫困问题——基于湖南两县农民精神生活状况调查

On Farmers' Spiritual Poverty during the Rural Transition——Based on a Survey in Two Counties of Hunan Province

贫困是我国在新农村建设进程中需要着力解决的问题。目前我国正处在社会转型和体制转轨时期,农村也经历着由小农经济向市场化转轨的痛苦嬗变。农村人口贫困除了物质贫困,还体现在精神贫困上,精神贫困已经成为农村人口彻底脱贫致富的障碍。因此,加强农村文化、制度、组织和社会工作建设,催生健康向上的新农民精神,是新农村建设中物质文明与精神文明共同发展的关键所在。

Poverty is the major problem for China to make great efforts to solve in the process of new countryside building. As China is in the social transforming and restructuring period, rural areas are also experiencing a painful shift from the traditional peasant economy to market -based system. In addition to material poverty, the spiritual poverty has become an obstacle in completely eliminating poverty. Therefore, the tasks to enhance the building of rural culture, institutions, organizations and social work, and to give birth to a healthy and progressive spirit of new farmers should be considered as the keys to the development of material civilization and spiritual civilization in the building of new countryside.
