The performance, process, preparation and research progress of bis（2-propylheptyl） phthalate （DPHP） are introduced. The features of the technologies for industrial production of DPHP are discussed and reviewed. The status of the researches and developing trends at home and abroad are reviewed. The future development of application and market demand are evaluated.
