摘要
连接词是语篇衔接的手段之一。采用定性和定量分析相结合的方法对英语书面广告语篇从词频和语义分布两方面进行研究。研究表明,就词频而言,广告语篇中的衔接对少数几个连接词的依赖性极强;就语义而言,该类语篇偏爱于因果和条件关系。
Conjunct is one of the effective ways to achieve cohesion in discourses.This paper is designed to investigate,from the angles of lexical frequency and semantic distribution,the conjuncts in ad English discourses through quantitative and qualitative analysis.This study indicates that in terms of lexical frequency,cohesion in ad English discourse relies,to a great degree,on a few conjuncts,while in terms of semantic distribution,the cause-effect and condition relations are preferred in ad English discourse.
