摘要
为更好的区分STT根焊与RMD根焊各自的优点及适用范围,从采用的设备、工作原理、参数调节方式、焊缝成型、质量和现场应用情况等方面对两种根焊方法进行了对比分析,可以看出STT与RMD的送丝机构不同,一个是开放式,一个是密封式,STT在厚壁材料上易出现冷溶缺陷,但能很好的控制薄壁材料的变形,因此,STT更适合于在固定地点、薄板和需控制焊接变形的结构上应用;RMD更适合于管道野外施工。
In order to distinguish STT process and RMD process,this paper mainly discusses the advantages and applications in the field or in the plant of the two processes by analysing the differences of equipments,principles of welding work,ways of parameter adjustment,weld configuration,quality and operations in the field.It shows that the wirefeed of these two peocess are quite different,that of STT process is open style and that of RMD process is the seale.In STT process,the distortion of the thin wall material can be easily controled but no-penetration in thick wall material will be easily produced.So STT process is suitable for thin wall steel in the plant.The RMD one is suitable for the pipeline welding in the field.
