摘要
采用可控正应力与剪应力之比(λ)的特殊夹具对块状V it1大块金属玻璃样品进行了可控剪切实验,研究了正应力对其剪切带行为的影响。测试结果表明,随λ值增大,塑性位移量增加。通过电镜观察样品表面剪切带形貌,发现正应力的大小对剪切带的数量、倾斜角及传播长度都具有重要的影响;此外,正应力还是诱发主要剪切带分叉形成次级剪切带并与之发生交割的主要因素。
A special fixture which can control the ratio of normal stress to shear stress(λ) was used to make a controlled shear test on Vit1 bulk metallic glasses in order to study the influence of normal stress on shear band behaviors.The results demonstrated that the plastic displacement increased with the increasing of λ value.Electron microscopic observations on the shear bands on the sample surface demonstrated that normal stress has significant impact on the number,inclined angle and length of the shear band.In addition,the normal stress is the major factor inducing bifurcation of the main shear bands to form secondary shear bands and their intersection with each other.
