海南应当抓住建设国际旅游岛的契机,加强城市文化建设。海南城市文化建设中应当正确处理经济建设与文化建设的关系,实现经济和文化协调发展;应当正确处理传承本土文化与开放外来文化的关系,实现各类文化的相互包容、相互发展;应当正确处理经济文化与生态文化的关系,实现人与自然、社会、生态的和谐。具体思路和设想是:依托博鳌亚洲论坛平台,努力打造区域文化交流中心;深化文化体制改革,加强城市文化资源整合;注重文化传承与文化创新,铸造有特色的城市文化品牌。

By grasping the opportunities of the construction of International Tourism Island, Hainan should strengthen its city culture development, which should carefully deal with the following relationships： economic constructing and culture constructing to realize the balanced development of the both ; inheriting local culture and opening to exotic culture to realize the mutual tolerance and development among various cultures ; the economic culture and ecological culture to realize the harmonious development between man and nature, between society and ecology. Our specific ways and assumptions are： the first, to build regional culture exchange centre on the base of the platform, Bo＇ ao Asia Forum ; the second, to deepen culture institutional reform to integrate city culture resources ; the third, to attach great importance to culture heritage and innovation to create a featured city culture brand.
