Virtual field geological trip system simulates fieled geological teaching process using computer graphics,images and multimedia technique base on the practical characteristics of field geological teaching,with three-dimensional field geological scene,multimedia,virtual record book,visual simulation of geological processes,flight roaming,GPS,compass,learning tests and other functions.This system is an important field geological teaching platform,playing an important role in assisting field geological teaching,improving the efficiency and quality of teaching and changing the traditional teaching concept.
