摘要 本文应用数学作为方法论,研究中西方传统文化、建筑和艺术中所蕴含的数学观,重点探讨M.C.埃舍尔图形创意所基于和遵循的数学"法则",唤醒人们重视科学对艺术的影响作用。研究数学与文化的另一主要目的是,希望人们能从全方位的和文化的视角欣赏数学的全貌和魅力。 This paper uses mathematics as methodology to discuss the mathematical concept contained in western culture,architecture and art.The mathematical principles that M.C.Escher applies to graphic creation are discussed in this paper to remind people of the great influence science has exerted on art.Another purpose of studying the relationship between mathematics and culture is to help people appreciate the panorama and glamour of mathematics from every perspective.
