As the language of web interaction,JavaScript is used by millions of webpage designers to improve their de-signs,verify forms,test the browser,create cookies,and to apply to more tasks.JavaScript,together with HTML and CSS,is becoming indispensable in web design,and also is the necessary teaching content in web design course.This paper discusses how to use the sequential teaching method： case analysis-theory explanation-students＇ practice,to fa-miliarize students with JavaScript in the limited teaching time.
