Low Carbon Transition Plan is UK＇s strategic document for climate change and energy security.It is also its overall plan for future energy mix.The Plan reinforces the market-oriented energy innovation system,changes of the approach to single new energy development,and lays a solid foundation for British low carbon economy.Meanwhile,as landmark document for strategic shift in energy,it draws on lessons from Brain＇s energy laws and policies.Also,it provides a protection for stable energy investment,overcoming financial crisis and leading global climate politics.In this regard,China should draw on British energy legislation and policy,enhance the strategic value of new energy,as soon as and draw up a medium-to-long-term new energy plan to secure low carbon as soon as possible.
