A Study on Women Issues in Public Policy Decision Process——Taking Foshan City for Example

公共政策决策程序具有工具性价值,从公共政策决策程序视角审视佛山市的妇女问题,目的在于促进佛山市在运用公共政策协调社会利益的过程中,强化重视社会性别的意识,增强决策者的性别敏感度,在政府的决策和立法中逐步消除性别歧视,体现出"性别正义",实现男女两性的真正平等。

Public policy decision process is of instrumental value. A survey of women issues in Feshan city is to promote public policy＇ s functions in harmonizing social interests, strengthen people＇ s awareness of social gender, and enforce policy makers＇ sensibility toward gender. Thus, in the process of policy making and implementing, gender discrimination is gradually removed and real equality between men and women is achieved.
