摘要
目的研究在激光二极管泵浦固体激光器内利用扭转模腔微失调的方法产生单纵模分裂并输出相干双频激光,频差连续可调.方法采用琼斯矩阵分析光在谐振腔内的本征方程,得到它的本征值和本征向量,从而可表示模在腔内的相位延迟和偏振状态.结果得出了双频偏振态线性正交以及双频频差与波片转角之间的关系,并分析了各种情况下双频分裂情况(等间隔频率分裂、单频).同时还推导出双频激光产生拍频的公式.结论当调节两波片夹角时,这两个正交的线偏振光有不同的频率,频差范围107~109Hz.
Aim To investigate the coherent two frequency laser after a single axial mode is split by the way of twisted mode cavity with fine detuning in LD pumped solid state laser. Methods To express the phase delay and polarization of each mode in resonator, the Jones matrix was adopted to analyze the eigen equation of each mode and get the eigenstates and eigenfreqencies. Results The two frequency lasers are orthogonally linearly polarized light. The relation between frequency difference and the angle of the relative rotation of quarterwave plates was derived. At the same time, the detail analysis of two frequency laser in various conditions was given(identical spacing frequency splitting, single frequency). Extensive calculation was made for the beat frequency between two frequency laser. Conclusion The orthogonally linearly polarized eigenstats have adjustable difference frequency when rotating the angle between plates. The range of difference frequency is from 10 7 ̄ 10 9 Hz.
