摘要
2010年8月11日，美国与越南在南海海域举行了两国历史上首次海军联合演习。在为期一周的演习中，美国出动了包括“乔治·华盛顿”号核动力航空母舰和“约翰·麦凯恩”号导弹驱逐舰在内的多艘大型舰艇。越南通讯社宣称，此次军演是越美关系正常化15周年纪念活动的组成部分，演习以“非战斗科目”为主，包括“损伤控制”和“海上搜救”等。
