This article introduced the function and its research situation of Passiflora edulis Sims, discussed the virtue and Sustainable development all-roundly. All these provide the theory basis and the technical references for domestication and development of Passiflora edulis Sims in Yangtze River southward in China, and at the same time give renewed impetus to the new fruit.
