Though analyzing and reviewing the process of the design of the Capital Complex, Dhaka, Bangladesh and comparing it with Louis I. Kahn＂ s works in his later years this article supposes to illustrate the specialities of his urban planning philosophy which shares a concrete coherence with his architectural idea. Meanwhile, it also intends to offer the new thinking towards the responsibility issue and creative imagination of architects by putting Louis I. Kahn on the grand background of intellectuals.
